Prevnar, HIb, Pediarix, Flu, and Rotavax. 2 in each chunky thigh. He's been kinda sleeping them off since yesterday. He's pleasant when he's up though, which is good.
We went through the Vaccine Book (Dr. Sears) and agonized a bit over whether or not to use a alternative schedule. Ultimately we decided to follow the standard schedule after talking with our Family MD.
Poor kiddo. Some of those don't sound familiar to me - is rotavax something to acoid rotovirus? And what's pediarix? I did a lengthy delayed schedule with Mina for the MMR, and Jordan can't get that one at all, or any live virus ones like chicken pox.
The flu thing is complete crap, in my opinion. Did you check the CDC site for the ones with mercury?
Ah S....one of the many joys of being married to a physician. You and I share the same philosophy I think. When I first brought up these concerns (combo vaccines, mercury level,schedules),Riz looked at me like a had two heads. It's hard enough to go against the advice medical community in general, but when your child's dad has an MD at the end of his name, it's, well, yeah.
