It sometimes still amazes me how lucky I am to be with these two girls

It's nice to always have someone with you so you don't have to be in pictures by yourself

Who's interested in everything you do...

Who makes you feel 10 feet tall

who knows all your b.s., but loves you anyway

Who always makes you feel special

Who supports all your foolish hobbies

No matter how outlandish they may be

It's just nice to be so close to someone who reminds you not to take things so seriously

Someone who keeps things interesting

But also always keeps things familiar.

Happy Turkey Day

Mmmm! As far back as I can remember, Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. And it's true about there being "no place like home" when it comes to holidays. Our favorite chef, Aziza, spent two entire days preparing the fabulous meal which we happily continued to consume well into the weekend.

Faheem's patience wears thin waiting for the turkey and he goes in for the kill.

After a couple glasses of sparkling grape juice, the sisters got a bit rowdy...

The clan gets together to send a pic to Mom Ejaz (visiting fam in Pakistan). As you can see, Dad Ejaz is very proud with the face-making capabilities of all his children.

On Friday evening we reunited with our high school buddies at Brett's place for a jolly good time

To have your favorite people finally come together in one place after not seeing some for years is tremendous. It was an absolute blast catching up with all those people who mean so much to us and for that we are truly thankful.

Then to Pier 1 to pick out presents for the newly engaged Matt and Angie.

Yay for Eid

After the Madison Incident we concluded that having a truck to help our friends lug stuff around was something we no longer wanted to be a part of. The truck needed to be returned to its rightful owner who uses it to move nothing nowhere.
We headed home for the weekend (again) which also happened to be Eid weekend. Our first stop was at Sweet Tooth to pick-up a chocolately chocolate cake for the fam.
